Alojzy F. "Al" Rysz

Alojzy F. "Al" Rysz, 66, of Waterville, Maine, died Wednesday at Hahnemann University Hospital, Philadelphia. He was formerly of Adams. Born in Adams on Oct. 22, 1939, son of Alojzy S. and Elizabeth Ordyna Rysz, he was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. Mr. Rysz was vice president of sales with Advanced-1 Cleaning Co. of Waterville. Prior to that, he worked in the electronic component sales business for 43 years, starting with the former Sprague Electric Co. in North Adams. He was a member of St. Stanislaus Kostka Society and the Polish National Alliance Drum and Bugle Corps. He was a fan of the Boston Red Sox and Ohio State University teams. Besides his wife, the former Maria E. Bormolini, he leaves three daughters, Donna Bolduc of Waterville, and Debbie Riggs and Deanna Burns, both of Haddonfield, N.J.; a son, Daniel Rysz of Haddonfield; a brother, Edward Rysz of the town of Florida; and 11 grandchildren. FUNERAL NOTICE -- A Memorial Mass for Alojzy "Al" Rysz, who died Wednesday, Dec. 21, 2004, will be celebrated Tuesday at 10 at St. Stanislaus' Church. Family and friends are invited. Memorial donations may be made to the Bone Marrow Transplant Center, in care of Leslie Woods, Hahnemann Hospital, 15th Floor Oncology, Broad and Vine streets, Philadelphia, PA 19102. KAIN-MURPHY FUNERAL SERVICES of Haddonfield, N.J., is in charge of arrangements. He also leaves three sons-in-law, T.J. Bolduc, Joseph Riggs and Kevin Burns, and a daughter-in-law, Susan Rysz.
