Virginia Flynn, 83, of 10541 Collinsville-Martin Road, Martin, Miss., died Friday at home. Her late husband, Daniel J. Flynn Jr., was a native of Great Barrington. Born in Meridian, Miss., on Aug. 26, 1922, she was the daughter of Adie J. and Molly Hodges Saterfiel. Mrs. Flynn was a homemaker and a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church in Martin. She and her husband were married in Great Barrington. She leaves three sons, Michael Flynn of San Jacinto, Calif., Daniel Flynn of Martin and John Flynn of Centerhill, Miss.; four sisters, Dorothy Kot, Peggy Scruggs, Dell Bennett and Winona Clearman; four brothers, Walton Saterfiel, Ken Saterfiel, A.J. Saterfiel and Carl Saterfiel; four grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for Virginia Flynn, who died Friday, Jan.6, 2006, was conducted yesterday, Jan. 8, at Pine Grove Church in Martin by the Rev. Tommy Espey. Burial was in Church Cemetery. BARHAM FUNERAL HOME of Meridian was in charge of arrangements. She also leaves a daughter-in-law, April Star Flynn of Centerhill; four grandchildren, Michael J. Flynn, Jennifer R. Flynn, Ryan Flynn and Mandy Jo Flynn, and three great-grandchildren, Ashley Flynn, Brandon Flynn and Cameron Flynn.
