Robert H. Flagg

Robert H. Flagg, 53, of 42 Taft St. died yesterday at North Adams Regional Hospital. Born in Pownal, Vt., on March 3, 1952, son of George Flagg and Pauline Lincoln Flagg Ames, he attended Drury High School and Charles H. McCann Vocational Technical High School, both in North Adams. He served nine years in the Army. Mr. Flagg was employed by Cascade School Supplies Co., retiring in 2001 because of illness. Before that, he was the manager of the lumber yard at K-K Home Mart for 15 years. He and his wife, the former Beverly Ann Clark, were married in Adams on March 29, 1969. She died Feb. 8, 2004. He leaves a daughter, Seana Flagg of Worcester; two sons, Brian Flagg and Trevor Flagg, both of North Adams; a sister, Donna Goodell of North Adams; five grandchildren, and a great-grandchild. He was predeceased by his stepfather, Kenneth Ames. FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for Robert H. Flagg, who died Friday, Jan. 6, 2006, will be Wednesday at 7 at FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS, West Chapel. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 4 to 7 at the funeral home. Memorial donations are suggested in his memory through the funeral home, 521 West Main St., North Adams, MA 01247. He also leaves five grandchildren, Robert and Zachary Flagg, and Eliz, Whitney and Lita Williams, and a great-grandson, Michael Williams. He was also predeceased by a brother, Brian Flagg, and a sister, Annamae Creps.
