Charles S.F. "Stan" Boudreau

Charles S.F. "Stan" Boudreau, 71, of West Center Road died Tuesday evening at his home. Born in Petit de Grat, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, on May 20, 1934, son of Francis and Violet DeCoste Boudreau, he attended schools there and came to the United States in 1961. Mr. Boudreau was employed as a sheet metal worker at Adamation Inc. in Newton for many years, retiring in 1999. While in Nova Scotia he had worked as a fisherman for several years. A resident of Arlington for 30 years, he had made his home in West Stockbridge since 2002. He was a communicant of St. Patrick's Church. A wood carver, he enjoyed making his own duck decoys and was also a boat builder. He married his wife, the former Audrey Landry, on Dec. 28, 1961, in Sacred Heart Church in East Boston. Besides his wife of West Stockbridge, he leaves a son, William F. Boudreau of Lenox Dale; two brothers, Phil Boudreau of Petit de Grat and Vernon Boudreau of Arichat, Canada, and a sister, Paula Boudreau of Petit de Grat. FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral of Charles S.F. "Stan" Boudreau of West Stockbridge, who died Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2006, will be Monday, March 6, at 10 a.m. from ROCHE FUNERAL HOME followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at St. Ann's Church in Lenox celebrated by the Rev. Christopher J. Waitekus, pastor. Burial will follow in Mountain View Cemetery in Lenox. Calling hours at the funeral home will be Sunday evening from 5 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to HospiceCare of the Berkshires in care of the funeral home, 120 Main St., Lenox, MA 01240. Mr. Boudreau also leaves his sisters-in-law, Celeste and Nell Boudreau. He was predeceased by a brother, Laurier Boudreau.
