John B. Trela

John B. Trela, 59, of 1711 Wrenford Road, South Euclid, Ohio, a native of Adams, died Saturday at North Adams Regional Hospital shortly after being admitted. He was visiting relatives in Adams over the weekend. Born on Nov. 15, 1946, son of Edward J. Trela and the late Jeannette Fillion Trela, he attended Adams schools and graduated from Charles H. McCann Technical School in North Adams and the Culinary Institute of America in New Haven, Conn. He moved to Ohio in 1971. Mr. Trela was a sales associate at Linens ‘N Things in Mayfield Heights, Ohio. He was a member and current president of the Kiwanis Club in Shaker Square, Ohio, and a member of the Western Reserve Chorale. He and his wife, the former Marian Miller, were married Feb. 12, 1972. Besides his wife and father, of Adams, he leaves a son, John S. Trela of South Euclid; a daughter, Jeannette L. Hoyle of Mayfield Heights, and a brother, James Trela of Baldwin, Md. FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for John B. Trela, of South Euclid, Ohio, who died Saturday, May 13, 2006, will be private. There will be no calling hours. AUGE-PACIOREK-SIMMONS FUNERAL HOME in Adams is in charge of arrangements. He also leaves a son-in-law, Scott Hoyle; a sister-in-law, Carol Trela; two nephews, and aunts, uncles and cousins.
