Charles Daniel "Danny" Lowe, 20 of 37 Arnold Place died Thursday in the emergency room of North Adams Regional Hospital from complications suffered the same day in a car accident in Stamford, Vt. Born in Augusta, Ga., on Sept. 23, 1985, son of Charles Lowe and Doris Jernigan Bushey, he moved to North Adams as a child and attended schools in Adams and North Adams, including Drury High School. He enjoyed playing basketball and football. Besides his mother, with whom he resided, and his father, of Augusta, he leaves his stepfather, Bruce Bushey, of North Adams; two sisters, Cynthia Montanye of Stephentown, N.Y., and Martha Ritcher of North Adams; two brothers, Bruce E. Bushey and Matthew A. Bushey, both of North Adams, and his paternal step-grandmother, Patricia Bushey of North Adams. FUNERAL NOTICE -- A memorial service to celebrate the life of Danny Lowe, who died Thursday, May 25, 2006, will be conducted Wednesday, May 31 at 6 p.m. at FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS, CENTRAL CHAPEL, by the Rev. Jill Graham, pastor of First Congregational Church in North Adams. Burial will be at a later date. Calling hours at the funeral home will be Wednesday from 4 to 6 p.m. Donations may be made in his memory through the funeral home, 74 Marshall St., North Adams, MA 01247. He also leaves three nephews, Lucas and Jordan Montanye, and Calvin Ritcher. Danny enjoyed hanging out with his friends.
