Carol Frances Bray

Carol Frances Bray, 71, of Warner Robins, Ga., formerly of Great Barrington, died Monday at Perry (Ga.) Hospital. Born in Tupelo, Miss., on April 22, 1935, daughter of Frederick R. and Dorothy Stewart Bray, she was educated in local schools. Ms. Bray was in the banking industry most of her life, retiring in 1998 from Wachovia Bank. She enjoyed reading and knitting. She leaves two brothers, David R. Bray of Warner Robins and William R. Bray of Alpharetta, Ga. FUNERAL NOTICE -- A graveside service for Carol Frances Bray, who died Monday, Sept. 25, 2006, will be conducted Monday, Oct. 2, at 11 at Elmwood Cemetery in Great Barrington by the Rev. Charles VanAusdall, pastor of First Congregational Church in Great Barrington. Visiting hours will be Sunday, Oct. 1, from 2 to 5 at FINNERTY & STEVENS FUNERAL HOME, Great Barrington. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Heart of Georgia Hospice, 103 Westridge Drive, Warner Robins, GA 31088, or to the Alzheimer's Association, 277 Martin Luther King Blvd., Suite 201, Macon, GA 31201-3498. She leaves two sisters-in-law, Faye (David) and Becky (William) Bray; and loving nieces and nephews Fred Bray and Vicky Meeks (Mickey), all of Bonaire, Ga., Lori Gorny (Bruce) of Warner Robins; Jessica Squeglia (Michael) of Staten Island, N.Y., and Travis Bray of Atlanta; and great-nieces and -nephews April, Michael and Matthew Meeks, and Claire Gorny.
