Jonathan E. Konove, 29, of Five Bridge Road, Brimfield, died Sunday in an automobile accident near his home. His parents live in Stockbridge. Born in North Tarrytown, N.Y., on May 2, 1977, son of Ronald and Kay Ethier Konove, he was a 1995 graduate of Briarcliff High School in Briarcliff, N.Y. Later, he graduated from Haverford (Pa.) College in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science in biology. He owned and operated River Rock Farm, an all-natural beef business that he and his family have run since 2000. River Rock Farm sold to a number of restaurants and at farmers' markets in the Boston and Northampton areas. It was profiled in the food section of The Boston Globe in 2005. Besides his parents, of Stockbridge, he leaves a brother, Drew Konove of New Haven, Conn.; a sister, Elissa Konove of Bethesda, Md.; his maternal grandmother, Nadine Ethier of Los Altos, Calif.; and his paternal grandfather, Robert Konove of New York City. FUNERAL NOTICE -- Jonathan Edward Konove, who died Sunday, Nov. 26, 2006, also leaves his uncle, Skip Ethier, of Menlo Park, Calif., and his brother-in-law, Nathan Seidman of Bethesda, Md. There will be a private interment ceremony in Stockbridge Cemetery on Friday, and a memorial service open to friends and family at 1 p.m. on Saturday at River Rock Farm, 81 Five Bridge Road, Brimfield.
