Eleanor R. Wauszkiewicz

Eleanor R. Wauszkiewicz, 88, of 56 Reservoir Road died Tuesday at Laurel Lake Center. Born in Pittsfield on July 5, 1918, daughter of James and Gladys Jerome Murray, she was a graduate of Pittsfield High School. During the 1940s, Mrs. Wauszkiewicz worked in the manufacturing industry in Pittsfield. She moved to Lee in 1953. She was a communicant of St. Mary's Church and a member of its former St. Mary-St. Martha Sodality and of the Lee Bowling League. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, gardening and cooking. She and her husband, Edward J. Wauszkiewicz Sr., were married May 31, 1941. He died in January 1985. She leaves a son, Edward J. Wauszkiewicz Jr. of Bay Town, Texas; three daughters, Carol A. Brunell of Maricopa, Ariz., Karen LaBier of Lee and Jean Jaquins of Lee; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. FUNERAL NOTICE -- A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Eleanor R. Wauszkiewicz, who died Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2006, will be tomorrow, Dec. 16, at 10 at St. Mary's Church in Lee. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery. Friends wishing may make donations to HospiceCare in the Berkshires in care of KELLY FUNERAL HOME, 3 Main St., Lee, MA 01238. There will be no visiting hours.
