Helen Dolores Monette, 76, of 14 Isbell St. died Sunday at North Adams Regional Hospital. Born in Adams on Sept. 9, 1930, daughter of Joseph and Adrienne Kuza Rodovick, she attended the former Adams High School. Mrs. Monette was a homemaker. At one time, she was employed by the former Model Laundry. She was a communicant of the former Holy Family Church. She was a fan of the Boston Red Sox and enjoyed NASCAR. Her husband, Edward Francis Monette, died April 11, 1965. They were married in 1948. She leaves four daughters, Linda Olson, Deborah Kirby and Patricia Therrien, all of North Adams, and Kathy Pindick of Williamstown; two sons, Gary Monette and Stephen Monette, both of North Adams; a brother, Edward Rodovick of Adams; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for Helen D. Monette, who died Sunday, Dec. 31, 2006, will be Wednesday at 11 at FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS, WEST CHAPEL, 521 West Main St., North Adams. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home will be Wednesday from 9 to 11. Donations may be made to Veterans Outreach in care of the funeral home. She also leaves several nieces and nephews. A brother, Joseph Rodovick, is deceased. She was a devoted wife and mother.
