Harriet Rosenblatt

Harriet Rosenblatt, 80, of 600 Laurel St., died yesterday at Laurel Lake Nursing Care Center. Born in New York City on Feb. 28, 1926, daughter of Charles Rosenblatt and Lena Rourke, she attended schools in New York and was a 1948 graduate of New York University, receiving a bachelor's degree in journalism. She was a journalist in New York City. Ms. Rosenblatt leaves a sister, Florence S. Browner of South Egremont. FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral and burial for Harriet Rosenblatt, who died Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2007, will be private and at the convenience of the family. BIRCHES-ROY FUNERAL HOME, 33 South St., Great Barrington, MA 01230, is handling arrangements. She also leaves a niece, Dr. Ilene Browner, and a nephew, Andrew W. Stone.
