Isabelle Helen Leonesio

Isabelle Helen Leonesio, 88, of 9 Mill St., died Wednesday at home. Born in Adams on July 28, 1918, daughter of Alexander and Sophie Kuna Konat, she attended St. Stanislaus' Elementary School. Mrs. Leonesio worked for the former Berkshire Fine Spinning Associates, the former Gale Shoe Co. in North Adams and at General Electric Co. She was a communicant of St. Stanislaus' Church and a member of its Rosary Sodality. She was also a member of Court Sancta Regina 904 of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas. She had also been a den mother for the former Cub Scout Pack 56 at St. Stanislaus'. Her husband, John B. "Buck" Leonesio, whom she married June 10, 1939, died April 14, 1999. She leaves three sons, Robert Leonesio of Tulsa, Okla., Roger Leonesio of Seattle and James Leonesio of the town of Florida; a brother, John Konat of Adams; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for Isabelle Helen Leonesio, who died Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2007, will be Tuesday at 9 a.m. from PACIOREK FUNERAL HOME, 13 Hoosac St., Adams, with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Stanislaus' Church celebrated by the Rev. Bonaventure Moccia, CP. Burial will follow in St. Stanislaus' Cemetery, Adams. Calling hours will be Monday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Members of the St. Stanislaus Rosary Sodality will meet at the funeral home Monday at 3:40 p.m. to pay their respects and recite the rosary. She also leaves two grandchildren, Deborah Hirons of Creston, Calif., and Ronald Leonesio of Louisville, Colo.; two great-grandchildren, Kyle and Daria Leonesio, both of Louisville; and nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
