Roland Gerard Pelletier

Roland Gerard Pelletier, 54, of 162 Woodlawn Ave., formerly of Springfield and Daytona Beach, Fla., died Friday at his home after a long illness. He resided in Pittsfield for the past three years. Born in Lowell on Jan. 13, 1953, son of the late Joseph R. and Arlene Hallowood Pelletier, he attended schools in Lowell and Redlands, Calif., and graduated from Redlands (Calif.) High School. He entered the Marines from June 8, 1972, and was honorably discharged on Dec. 19. 1972. Mr. Pelletier was the owner and operator of Tropical Snow franchise, a snow cone business in Dayton Beach. He was also an automobile salesman for many years. He enjoyed boating and social dancing. Mr. Pelletier leaves a sister, Beverly A. Turcotte of Dracut. FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for Roland G. Pelletier, who died Friday, March 23, 2007, will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery in East Chelmsford. There are no calling hours. Mr. Pelletier is also leaves his brother-in-law, Ronald R. Turcotte; two nieces, Kristin and Kelly; several aunts, uncles and cousins, and a special uncle, Gerald R. Hallowood of Lowell. DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54 Bradford St., Pittsfield, MA 01201, is handling arrangements.
