Geraldine E. Accetta, 72
NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Geraldine Evelyn Accetta, 72, of 5681 Isabelle Ave., Port Orange, Fla., formerly of North Adams, died Friday, June 1, 2007, at Halifax Medical Center in Port Orange.
Born in Greenfield on March 22, 1935, daughter of Donald C. and Addie Grant Fisk, she attended schools in Greenfield and graduated from Greenfield High School with the class of 1953.
Mrs. Accetta was employed by the former General Cable Co. in Williamstown for many years until her retirement.
She enjoyed playing golf, bowling, crossword puzzles, playing cards and gardening. She was an accomplished acrylic painter and she collected swan figurines.
She leaves her husband, Patrick Accetta, whom she married in November 1983.
Besides her husband, she leaves two daughters, Deborah Ann Dunn and her husband, Richard, of North Adams and Tami Lee Trimarchi and her husband, Phillip, of South Daytona, Fla.; two sisters, Dorothy Kirby of North Adams and Bettie King of Bellows Falls, Vt.; three brothers, Richard Fisk of Pittsfield, Donald Fisk of Lyme, N.H., and Albert Fisk of Charleston, N.H.; two grandchildren, Michael Dunn of Natick, and Sara Pieczarka of Agawam; three great-grandchildren, Madison Dunn, Isabelle Dunn and Ryder Pieczarka; nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Her brothers Herbert Fisk and John Fisk are deceased.
FUNERAL NOTICE — A private graveside service for Mrs. Accetta will be held at a later date in Southview Cemetery in North Adams. There will be no calling hours.
