Corinne R. Larkin

Corinne R. Larkin, 93, of 600 Laurel St., formerly of Morgan Manor, Lenox, died Wednesday at Berkshire Medical Center. Born in Cheshire on Jan. 1, 1914, daughter of Azzo and Corina Montani Delmolino, she was a graduate of the former Williams High School in Stockbridge and a high honors graduate of Berkshire Community College. Mrs. Larkin was employed as a secretary for the Buick Center in Stamford, Conn., retiring in 1977. She was a communicant of St. Ann's Church in Lenox and a longtime Red Cross volunteer. Her husband, Frank J. Larkin, whom she married April 14, 1941, at St. Patrick's Church in West Stockbridge, died May 25, 1995. She leaves a brother, Rino Delmolino of West Stockbridge; and a sister, Jeannette Buelens of Waterford, Conn. FUNERAL NOTICE -- A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Corinne R. Larkin, who died Wednesday, Aug. 22, 2007, will be celebrated Saturday at 11 a.m. at St. Ann's Church in Lenox by the Rev. Christopher J. Waitekus, pastor. Burial will follow in St. Peter's Cemetery in Great Barrington. The family will receive friends at a calling hour preceding the funeral, from 9:15 to 10:15 a.m., at BIRCHES-ROY FUNERAL HOME. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that expressions of sympathy in Corinne's memory be made to HospiceCare in the Berkshires, in care of the funeral home, 33 South St., Great Barrington, MA 01230. She also leaves two sisters-in-law, Helen and Grace Delmolino, both of West Stockbridge; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, Constantine and Leo Delmolino, and by a sister, Armida Beatrice.
