Antoinette G. Flint

Antoinette G. Flint, 83, of 46 Railroad St. died Monday at Hillcrest Commons in Pittsfield. Born in Worcester on June 3, 1924, daughter of Giacomo and Lucia DiCicco Piacquadio, she moved to Pittsfield as a child and was educated in local schools. She moved to Lee in the late 1940s. Mrs. Flint was a member of West Stockbridge Congregational Church. She enjoyed cooking and volunteering for various local organizations. Her husband, Charles E. Flint, whom she married Feb. 25, 1947, died April 28, 1993. She leaves four sons, Frank J. Russo of Danbury, Conn., Charles L. Flint of Lenox, Daniel E. Flint of Shelburne Falls and Richard C. Flint of Lee; a sister, Frances Salvi of Pittsfield; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. FUNERAL NOTICE -- A memorial service for Antoinette G. Flint, who died Monday, Sept. 3, 2007, will be held Sept. 22 at 1 p.m. at First Congregational Church in Lee. There will be no visiting hours. In lieu of flowers, friends wishing may make donations to HospiceCare in the Berkshires, in care of KELLY FUNERAL HOME, 3 Main St., Lee, MA 01238. She leaves her grandchildren, Adrian Flint of Lee, Derek Petersoli of Pittsfield, Jodi Blanchette and Jason Flint of Southington, Conn., Andrew and Sydney Flint of Lenox, Morris Croze of West Stockbridge, and Sandra, Charlie and Frank Russo Jr. of Danbury, Conn.; and four step-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brothers, Alfonso Piacquad, and Albert and John Piacquadio, and by two sisters, Lucy Piacquadio and Gloria Ozella. Mrs. Flint enjoyed hosting family gatherings.
