David A. Provost

David A. Provost, 42, of Bernard Gibbons Drive, died Tuesday at Fairview Hospital. Born in Pittsfield, on May 27, 1965, son of James M. Provost and the late Madeline L. Dean Provost, he grew up in Monterey and attended Mount Everett Regional High School. Mr. Provost was disabled at an early age and was not able to work a full-time job. He volunteered his time and worked with Construct Inc. in Great Barrington and AdLib Inc., an organization that assists people with various disabilities in Pittsfield. He was outgoing and liked to spend time helping others. He leaves his wife, Tina DeNauro of Ashley Falls. Besides his father, of Anaheim, Calif., and his wife, he also leaves a son, Christopher Provost of North Egremont; a daughter, Amanda M. Provost of Pittsfield; two brothers, James Provost of Ashley Falls and Jeffery Provost of Pittsfield; two sisters, Brenda Cleary of West Stockbridge and Wendy Provost of Lee. FUNERAL NOTICE -- Services for David A. Provost, who died Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2007, will be private. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 1 to 3 p.m. at FINNERTY AND STEVENS FUNERAL HOME in Great Barrington. Donations may be made to the David A.
