STOCKBRIDGE - Eleanor N. Faber, 92, formerly of Heaton Court, died on Thursday, Nov. 22, 2007, at Fairview Hospital in Great Barrington. She had been a resident of Great Barrington Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. Born in Naugatuck, Conn., on Oct. 3, 1915, she was the daughter of Frank and Josephine Hotchkiss Faber. She attended schools there and graduated from Wilby High School in Waterbury, Conn., in 1933. Mrs.Faber worked as a clerk for Arrow Head Enterprises in New Milford, Conn., until retiring in 1973. She was a communicant of St. John's Church in Waterbury until the family moved from New Milford to Sneads Ferry, N.C. She moved to Heaton Court in the early 1980s. She loved gardening, working on various crafts and crocheting. Her husband Robert N. Faber Sr., who she married Feb. 22, 1935, in St John's Church in Waterbury, died in 1979. She leaves a daughter, Eleanor E. Couch of Kernerville, N.C.; a son Daniel Faber of Sharon, Conn.; two daughters-in-law, Catherine Anne Faber of Stockbridge and Diane Faber of New Milford, nine grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by two sons, William H. Faber in 1991 and Robert N. Faber Jr. in 2003, and four sisters and four brothers. FUNERAL NOTICE - Services for Eleanor N. Faber will be private.
