Carol Ann Dupont, 77, of 1379 Chester Road died Tuesday at the home of her son, Harry W. Dupont of 13 Anthony Drive in Hinsdale. Born in Pittsfield on Oct. 22, 1930, daughter of Frederick and Rena Garcau Conner, she was educated in Becket schools. Mrs. Dupont was a homemaker. She enjoyed gardening. Her husband, Harry D. Dupont, whom she married June 3, 1950, died Dec. 24, 1999. Besides her son, she leaves another son, Steven J. Dupont Sr. of North Adams; a daughter, Shirley M. O'Donnell of Pittsfield; a brother, Charles Conner of Dalton; and four grandchildren. Another son, Alan R. Dupont, died April 19, 2004. FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for Carol Ann Dupont, who died Tuesday, Dec. 25, 2007, will be conducted Saturday at 10 a.m. at DERY-FOLEY FUNERAL HOME by the Rev. William D. Furey, pastor of Berkshire Union Chapel. Burial will be in the spring in North Becket Cemetery. There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Mrs. Dupont may be made to the American Cancer Society, in care of the funeral home, 890 East Main St., Dalton MA 01226.
