Pittsfield - Peter John Cadanelli, 47, of 256 Lakeway Drive died yesterday at Berkshire Medical Center. Born in Pittsfield on March 2, 1960, son of Bruno R. and Sophia Lingoski Cadanelli, he was a member of the Berkshire County Association for Retarded Citizens family for 21 years. He enjoyed playing the guitar, watchingtelevison,baseball games, laughing and spending time with his housemates and staff. Besides his parents, of Pittsfield, Mr. Cadanelli leaves two sisters, Geraldine "Cookie" Bishop and Sandra Vallencourt, both of Pittsfield. FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for Peter John Cadanelli, who died Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2008, will be conducted Friday at 1 p.m. at DERY FUNERAL HOME by the Rev. Peter A. Gregory, pastor of St. Charles' Church. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Calling hours will be Friday from noon until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Berkshire County Association for Retarded Citizens, in care of the funeral home, 54 Bradford St., Pittsfield, MA 01201. Peter also leaves his brother-in-law, Gary Bishop; two nieces, Shila and Gina; a nephew, Justin; two grandnieces, Kayla and Ava; a grandnephew, Ayden; his housemates, Howie, Danny, Ginny, Theresa, Dana, Patty and Betty; and the staff, who loved and supported him and who will miss him.
