GREAT BARRINGTON - Kathryn E. Hunt, 82, formerly of Schenectady, N.Y., died Saturday, March 1, 2008, at Fairview Hospital. She had been residing at Timberlyn Heights Nursing and Alzheimer's Center. Born in Olmstedville, N.Y., on Oct. 21, 1925, daughter of Edward and Adelaide Richardson Lavery, she was a 1939 graduate of Minerva High School there. She leaves a son, Daniel R. Hunt of Rexford, N.Y.; two daughters, Anita F. Letson and her husband, Jodie, of Schenectady and Karen M. Cover and her husband, Andrew, of Bakersfield, Calif.; a brother, Nolan Lavery of the state of Florida; two sisters, Marguerite Lavery of Scotia, N.Y., and Grace Waddell of North Creek, N.Y., five grandchildren and a great-grandson. FUNERAL NOTICE – Services for Kathryn E. Hunt will be private and at the convenience of the family in North Creek, N.Y. There will be no calling hours. Expressions of sympathy in her memory may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 423A New Karner Road, Albany, N.Y. 12205. Birches-Roy Funeral Home, 33 South St., Great Barrington, Mass. is in charge of arrangements.
