Dorothy Duchardt, 92
GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass. — Dorothy Duchardt, 92, of South Main Street died Saturday, Nov. 29, 2008, at Great Barrington Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.
Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., on Feb. 17, 1916, daughter of Henry and Elizabeth Schlobohm Duchardt, she graduated from Brooklyn schools.
Miss Duchardt sold her partnership in a hair salon in December 1979 and moved from Jamaica, N.Y., to Craryville, N.Y. She moved to Bostwick Gardens in Great Barrington in 1989.
She was a member of Sheffield Chapel.
She leaves eight nieces and nephews, Donald Briody, Robert Briody, Carol Briody Gibney, Janice Fischer Perdock, Robert Duchardt, Daniel Duchardt and Roger Duchardt and Cherrill Duchardt Geehan.
She was predeceased by her brother, John Duchardt, and her two sisters Meta Briody and Mildred Fischer.
FUNERAL NOTICE — Funeral services for Miss Duchardt will be conducted on Saturday, Dec. 6, at 11 at Sheffield Chapel by the Rev. E. Robert Geehan, her niece Cherrill's husband. Burial will be on Tuesday, Dec. 9, at Maple Grove Cemetery in Jamaica, N.Y.
