Kevin M. Robare, 48

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Kevin Michael Robare, 48, of 11 Spencer Road, Mohawk Trail, died Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2008, at home after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in North Adams, on Sept. 23, 1960, son of Martha Benoni Robare and the late Norman P. Robare, he attended schools in North Adams. He had formerly resided in Waterford, N.Y. Mr. Robare was employed at the Tire Warehouse and Kings Fuels in New York. He was last employed as a manager of shipping and receiving at Frames Plus in Albany, N.Y. He was a communicant of the former Our Lady of the Incarnation Church and had been an active member of the Waterford Wesleyan Church. He was an avid Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots fan. He loved playing cards and games with friends and body building. He was also active in his son's youth sports and coached youth soccer and baseball. Besides his mother, whom he made his home, he leaves two sons, Justin P. Robare of Rotterdam, N.Y., and Ethan Klensch of Rhode Island; a brother, Peter A. Robare and his wife, Gail, of North Adams; two sisters, Lisa Marie Robare of Rutlandtown, Vt., and Andrea Jean Robare of North Adams; a nephew, Steven James Robare of North Adams, and aunts and uncles and cousins. FUNERAL SERVICES — A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Kevin M. Robare will take place on Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2008, at 11 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Church. Burial will follow in the family plot in Eastlawn Cemetery in Williamstown. Calling hours at Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, West Chapels, will be Tuesday morning from 9 to 10:30. Memorial donations can be made to the Kevin M. Robare Foundation through the funeral home, 521 West Main St., North Adams, MA 01247.
