Walter T. Worden Sr., 75
STEPHENTOWN, N.Y. â€' Walter T. Worden Sr., 75, of 10 Big Rock Way died Tuesday, April 28, 2009, at home.
Born in Kingston on Nov. 11, 1933, son of Fred and Julia Wright Worden, he attended Kingston schools.
He served in the military during the Korean War.
Mr. Worden was last employed with Paraco Gas Co. Following his retirement, he worked as a bus driver.
He was a member of the Stone Ridge American Legion. He enjoyed gardening.
His wife, the former Nancy Felix, died on Jan. 26, 2006.
He leaves a son, Walter T. Worden Jr. of Stephentown; a daughter, Melinda Waterman of Chicago; three sisters, Ora Depuy of North Adams, Mass., Dorothy Depuy of Essex and Susan Ean of Accord; two brothers, Harry Worden of Accord and George Worden of Stone Ridge, two grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
FUNERAL NOTICE â€' Calling hours for Mr. Worden will be Friday, May 1, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, West Chapels, 521 West Main St., North Adams, Mass.
