Lois V. Roy, 78
ADAMS, Mass. — Lois V. Roy, 78, of 17 Pleasant St., Apt. 3, died Saturday, Sept. 22, 2012, at Williamstown Commons after a long illness.
Born in North Adams on Dec. 2, 1933, a daughter of Wilson and Delia Vallue Gay, she attended schools in North Adams and graduated from Drury High School.
Mrs. Roy was employed for many years at Hunter Outdoor Products in North Adams.
She was a communicant of the former St. Francis of Assisi Church in North Adams.
Her husband, Lawrence E. Roy Jr., died in July 1990.
She leaves a daughter, Karan James of Fall River; three sons, Kyle A. Roy of Clarksburg and Lee Edward Roy and Loran D. Roy, both of Adams; 11 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
FUNERAL NOTICE — Graveside services for Mrs. Roy will take place Friday, Sept. 28, at 11 a.m. at Southview Cemetery, North Adams.
