McCann Holds Off Ware

NORTH ADAMS, Mass — Senior captain John LeClair scored two touchdowns in the fourth quarter to help the Hornets hold off Ware 18-6 in its home opener on Saturday afternoon.  LeClair and Senior TJ Therrien combined for 145 yards on the ground and three touchdowns for McCann.

LeClair did most of his damage on his 47-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter.  He added an insurance touchdown with a one-yard score with a little over a minute left in the game.  He finished the day with 64 yards and the two scores.

Therrien finished the day with 81 yards and scored his touchdown on a 50-yard run right before halftime.

McCann will look to build on their victory when they travel to Pathfinder on Friday night.
