MONTAGUE, Mass. – A.J. Pelkey drove in a pair of runs in the top of the seventh to complete a Mount Greylock comeback and give the Mounties a 5-4 win over Turners Falls on Thursday.

Mount Greylock entered the seventh down, 4-2.

Madi Barber led off with a single but was erased on a fielder’s choice off the bat of Vayda Larabee. Elein Reinhart then worked a seven-pitch walk to move Larabee into scoring position.

Mila Marcisz walked to load the bases with one out, and Larabee scored on a passed ball with Malia Koffi at bat.

Koffi, who homered earlier in the game, walked to reload the bases and bring up Pelkey.

She hit a single to left field to bring home Reinhart and Marcisz and give Mount Greylock a 5-4 lead.

Kayleigh Jaros then pitched around a walk and a double in a scoreless bottom of the seventh to seal the win.

Jaros struck out six and walked seven while allowing just one earned run in seven innings of work in the circle.

Koffi hit a two-run homer in the third to tie the game, 2-2, at the time before being walked in her next three plate appearances.

Mount Greylock (4-6) hosts Hoosac Valley on Saturday.
