PALMER, Mass. — The McCann (1-1) football team looked like they were in control of the game early as they shut down Pathfinder's offense and led 6-0 right before halftime.  But with about a minute left before the half, Pathfinder's quarterback connected with his reciever for a 52-yard touchdown to give their team a 7-6 lead.  On the ensuing kickoff, Pathfinder recovered their onside kick attempt and took advantage of the last possession with a 30-yard touchdown strike that pushed their lead to 13-6. The two late touchdowns by Pathfinder took away any and all of the Hornets' momentum as they went on to lose 31-6.

Senior quarterback Justin Cote scored McCann's only touchdown of the game on a two-yard run.  Cote finished the night with twelve rushes for 86 yards and passed for 93 yards on six completions.

McCann hosts Greenfield on Saturday at 1 p.m.
