PITTSFIELD, Mass. — Taconic's defense had the tough task of stopping Mount Greylock's (3-0) powerful rushing attack of Ethan Ryan and Daivon Clement but also needed to limit the impact of emerging wide reciever threat Eric Leitch.  Leitch showed his skills as a pass-catcher that has a nose for the endzone on Friday night as he scored two touchdowns in the Mountie's 36-0 shutout win over Taconic (1-2) at Wahconah Park.

Leitch and Mountie senior quarterback Hank Barrett are creating quite a rapport with each other as they have connected in the air for two touchdowns in back-to-back games.  Barrett seems to be getting more comfortable in the passing game as he finished with 141 yards on seven completions Friday night.  Tight end Tyler Picard was the beneficiary as he hauled in three of Barrett's passes for a team-high 70 yards recieving.

Ryan and Clement did their jobs on the ground for the Mounties as they combined for 182 yards and two touchdowns.  Ryan got the two scores for Mount Greylock and finished with 104 yards on the night.

Mount Greylock's win streak stays alive at 29 straight.  They will face a tough matchup when Hoosac (2-1) comes to town on Friday night for the Mountie's home-opener of the season at 7 p.m.
