NORTH ADAMS, Mass. – Drury senior Lucas Hamilton picked the perfect time to score his first varsity goal.

Hamilton converted a corner kick from classmate Rommel Alvarez with just less than eight minutes left in the second half Monday to give the Blue Devils a 1-0 win over Pioneer Valley Chinese Immersion Charter in Drury’s season finale.

“It was a great way to end the careers for five seniors,” Drury coach John Jacobbe said. “Goalie Parker Rivard got a shutout with eight saves. Brayden Canales and Matt Howland played lock down defense, and we got a goal for Lucas Hamilton and an assist from Alvarez.”

Drury finishes the year with a record of 3-11-2 and wins in its last two games.
