Hornets Win Back-to-Back Games

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- Hayden Bona and Max Plekhanov each scored a pair of goals Tuesday to lead the McCann Tech boys soccer team to a 5-1 win over Pioneer Valley Chinese Immersion Charter School.

 

Bona added an assist, and Brennan Vallieres scored a goal.

 

Ashton Solomon recorded three assists.

 

"After giving up a goal in the first minute of the game on a misplayed ball, we never looked back, scoring 2 before the half and coming out in the second half in control scoring three more," McCann Tech coach Stephen McAllister said.

 

"Well played game considering these boys just finished winning the night before against Springfield international charter school 2-1. Always tough playing back to back."

 

Ben Harris made two stops to earn the win in goal.

 

McCann Tech (3-0) hosts Gateway on Friday.
