Gavin Snyder had a goal and an assist for the Eagles.

Aiden Murray scored the first Mount Everett goal to cut the margin to 4-1 in the 45th minute.

Snyder converted an assist from Guthrie Davis to get the Eagles within two goals.

But the Green Wave answered three minutes later.

In the 65th minute, Mount Everett's Brady Carpenter converted a penalty kick to make it 5-3.

But after the teams combined for four goals in the first 25 minutes of the second half, neither could find the back of the net again.
