Mount Everett Boys Top Gateway

SHEFFIELD, Mass. – Darius Taliaferro and Cameron Coon each scored a goal on Friday to lead the Mount Everett boys soccer team to a 2-1 win over Gateway Regional.

 

Taliaferro converted an assist from Philip Enoch midway through the first half.

 

Coon opened the second half with a goal assisted by Edwin Dobson in the 42nd minute.

 

Gateway scored in the 79th minute to avoid the shutout.

 

Mount Everett finishes the regular season 6-4-6 and learns next week who it will meet in the quarter-finals of the Western Mass Class D Tournament.
