PITTSFIELD. Mass. — Taconic and Pittsfield played a very strong defensive game. Both back lines were tough, and shots were hard to come by. In the 26th minute Taconic's Patrick Boua broke the Generals defense with an assist from Luis Matta.The game entered the half at 1-0 as the defenses continued to dominate. Dominic Nda, iBerkshies.com's athlete of the week, then used his terrific speed to take a pass from Myles Candelet and score the insurance goal for Taconic.
The final was 2-0 in a hard fought match. Basile Addy had three saves for Taconic while Bohati Mweze made one save for Pittsfield.
