Drury Boys Shut Out Hoosac Valley

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- Max Daugherty scored in the 33rd minute of the game, and the Drury boys soccer team went on to a 2-0 win over Hoosac Valley on Thursday night on MCLA's Shewcraft Field.
 
Caleb Besaw set up Daugherty on the game-winner.
 
Hunter Sarkis added an insurance goal off an assist from Reece Racette midway through the second half for the Blue Devils, who avenged Tuesday's loss in Adams and finished the season series with a 2-1 advantage over the rival Hurricanes.
 
Corbin Rumbolt stopped five shots to earn the shutout. Jaydin Cooper had 10 saves for the Hurricanes.
 
Drury (5-6) goes to Wahconah on Monday.
 
Hoosac Valley (4-6) hosts Mount Everett on Monday.
