Pittsfield Boys Soccer Downs Hoosac Valley

PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- Nick Apprey scored two goals Friday to lead the Pittsfield boys soccer team to a 7-1 win over Hoosac Valley at Berkshire Community College.
 
The Generals got goals from Apprey and Danny Kankam in the first seven minutes, but Hoosac Valley responded with an unassisted goal by Jake Richardson a minute later.
 
Pittsfield re-established its two-goal margin moments later when Kankam set up Andre Bartow, and the Generals never looked back.
 
Bartow added two assists, and Justice Daniels had a goal and an assist.
 
Will Kinne made two saves to earn the win in goal and scored a goal on a penalty kick.
 
Lucas Waterman made 11 saves for Hoosac Valley.
 
The Hurricanes (0-4) go back to BCC to play Taconic on Monday.
 
Pittsfield (4-0) goes to Mount Everett on Thursday.
