Pittsfield Shuts Out Wahconah
PITTSFIELD, Mass. – Reese Cook-Dubin made three saves Wednesday to backstop the Pittsfield boys soccer team to a 3-0 win over Wahconah.
Carlos Lagos, Kevin Campo and Daniel Varon each scored a goal in the first half for the Generals.
“The boys brought it from the start,” Pittsfield coach Ryan Wanek said. “Playing quick decisive passes and moving for one another. Defensively we didn’t give up much, and I thought we were great in the air on both the defensive end and the attacking end.”
Pittsfield (1-4-1) hosts Monument Mountain on Friday.
Wahconah is at Taconic on Saturday.
