Mount Greylock Boys Soccer Blanks Taconic in Opener

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- Eight different players got in the scorebook and four recorded their first varsity goals Wednesday as the Mount Greylock boys soccer team opened the season with an 8-0 win over Taconic.
 
Freshman Julius Munemo had a big day. He was one of the first-time scorers and added a pair of assists. Jacob Adams, Gio Cavalli and Mitchell Jezouit also each scored his first goal.
 
Adams finished with a goal and an assist, as did Toby Foehl.
 
Sam Edge recorded the shutout in goal for Mount Greylock, which hosts Frontier on Saturday.
 
Taconic (0-1) hosts Mount Everett on Thursday evening at Berkshire Community College.
