Monument Mountain Blanks Hampshire on Road

WESTHAMPTON, Mass. – Oliver Curtis and Finn Mason each had a goal and an assist Thursday to lead the Monument Mountain boys soccer team to a 4-0 win over Hampshire.
 
Mason scored the first goal, nine minutes in, off an assist from Luke Guerrero.
 
Sean Collins scored unassisted to give the Spartans a 2-0 half-time lead, and Milo Potoski and Curtis added goals in the second half.
 
Calvin Cooney and Xavier Hernandez split time in Monument Mountain’s goal, combining for three saves.
 
The Spartans (4-2-2) go to Minnechaug on Monday.
