Mount Greylock Boys Blank Monument Mountain

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- The Mount Greylock boys soccer team Thursday got goals from four different players and assists from two more in a 4-0 win over Monument Mountain on John T. Allen Field.
 
“It was great to see four different players get in on the action,” Mounties coach Blair Dils said. “[Goalkeeper] David Falk earned his first shutout of the season. Our defensive group was bolstered by the return of captain Kyle Bazonski.”
 
The group effort got started early when Tyler Marten set up Brady Foehl for the only goal Mount Greylock needed in the 10th minute.
 
Sam Dils fed Naka O’Connor four minutes later to give the Mounties (2-1-1) a 2-0 lead at half-time.
 
In the second half, Dils scored a goal on an assist from Foehl, and Zach Condon set up J. Bath to finish the scoring with two minutes left.
 
Falk made four saves to earn the win.
 
Kevin Kelly stopped eight shots for Monument Mountain (1-3).
 
Mount Greylock hosts Lenox on Tuesday.
 
This game was later forfeited.
