Slow Start Costs Pittsfield Boys Against Agawam
PITTSFIELD, Mass. – The Agawam boys soccer team took a 2-0 lead at half-time and went on to a 3-1 win over Pittsfield on Tuesday.
“Second half I thought it was a completely different story,” Pittsfield coach Ryan Wanek said. “I thought we dominated the majority of the half with possession and opportunities. We need to learn and figure out how to play a full 80 minutes like that.”
Bashiru Sowe got Pittsfield on the board in the 47th minute. The visitors tacked on an insurance goal 18 minutes later.
John Mullen made three saves for the Generals.
Pittsfield (1-6-1) goes to Mount Greylock on Thursday.
