AGAWAM, Mass. – Thomas Poulin had a goal and an assist Thursday to lead the Agawam boys soccer team to a 3-0 win over Pittsfield.

Reese Cook-Dubin made six saves for the Generals, who went into half-time down by just a goal.

“I thought we played okay, little mistakes really cost us today,” PIttsfield coach Ryan Wanek said. “We lacked communication on the field both defensively and offensively. I didn’t think we lost due to a lack of effort, just think that we lost our heads at some points and it cost us.

“We need to come out tomorrow with a different attitude and mindset against McCann.”

The Generals go to North Adams to play the Hornets on Friday afternoon before finishing the regular season Monday at Mount Greylock.
