Pittsfield Shuts Out Frontier

PITTSFIELD, Mass. – Armando Correas scored in the 63rd minute Wednesday to send the Pittsfield boys soccer team to a 1-0 win over Frontier in the Generals’ regular season finale.

“I thought we dominated a large majority of the game and how many chances to put the ball in the back of the net,” Pittsfield coach Ryan Wanek said. “Credit to Frontier's goalie he made a lot of great saves that kept his team in the game. Second half I thought we created a lot more than the first but we just need to be more clinical finishing the ball.”

Pittsfield (7-7-2) learns Friday who it will face in the quarter-finals of next week’s Western Massachusetts Class B Tournament.
