Miller Scores Game-Winner as Pittsfield Boys Top Mount Greylock

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- Pittsfield's Matt Miller scored off an indirect kick in the 25th minute and held on for a 1-0 win over Mount Greylock on Thursday.
 
The Generals earned a restart after a Mount Greylock defender was whistled for a headball in violation of this year's COVID-19-modified rules.
 
Luke Peplowski set up the game-winning goal to help Pittsfield improve to 3-0 in the Fall 2 campaign.
 
Oscar Low made six saves for the Mounties, who were outshot, 7-2.
 
Will Kinne made both saves to earn the shutout in Pittsfield's goal.
 
Mount Greylock (3-1-1) plays Lenox on Sunday at Berkshire Community College.
 
Pittsfield plays Hoosac Valley on Friday at BCC.
