Fast Start Propels Drury in State Tourney Opener

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. – The Drury girls soccer team scored three goals in the first six minutes en route to a 7-1 win over Prospect Hill Friday in the preliminary round of the Division 5 State Tournament.
 
Megan McGrath, Hannah Lacasse and Madison Saunders accounted for those early goals.
 
McGrath went on to score another goal for the Blue Devils, who got scores from Rylee Joy, Hailey Kingsley and Reagan Cornell.
 
Brooke Bishop made three saves to earn the win in goal.
 
Drury (16-2-1) moves on to face 12th-seeded Palmer (10-6-2) in the Round of 32 on Monday.
