SHEFFIELD, Mass. – Chevelle Raifstanger had a goal and an assist Tuesday to lead the Mount Everett girls soccer team to a 4-0 win over Taconic.

Allison Steuernagle, Alexandra Lawton and Stella Lennex each scored a goal as the Eagles took a 4-0 lead into half-time.

“We were able to apply pressure in the beginning of today's game and put a couple goals in the net, which allowed us to make some changes in our game plan,” Mount Everett coach Joshua King said. “The girls did a good job of finding space and moving the ball and everyone was able to log some quality minutes which was crucial as we start a pretty hectic next couple of days.”

Emma Wilson made three saves to earn the win in goal for Mount Everett (5-2-1), which continues a stretch of four games in five days on Wednesday when it travels to Franklin Tech for a night game.

Taconic (0-7) hosts Springfield International Charter on Thursday.
