Taconic Tops Hampden Charter in Opener

PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- Maria Valdivieso had a hat trick Friday to lead the Taconic girls soccer team to a 6-2 win over Hampden Charter in the Thunder's season opener.

 

Brigitte Quintuna-Tenorio, Lydia DiNicola and Tilly Delsignore each scored a goal in the victory.

 

Taconic (1-0) goes to Lee on Tuesday.
