Wahconah Shuts Out Monument Mountain

DALTON, Mass. – Miranda White scored a pair of goals Monday to lead the Wahconah girls soccer team to a 5-0 win over Monument Mountain.

 

Anna Doyle, Olivia Johnson and Danielle Hagmaier each scored for Wahconah, which got six saves from Paetyn Tatro in her first varsity shutout.

 

“Great defensive showing for the Warriors with Madi McCarthy and Gracey Farley anchoring in the back,” Wahconah coach Maggie Rivers said.

 

Chloe Difazio recorded a pair of assists in the win.

 

Ynes Bourdon stopped 18 shots for the Spartans (2-1), who host Hampshire Regional on Wednesday.

 

Wahconah (2-0) is at Pittsfield on Friday.
