McDermott, Mount Greylock Girls Improve to 5-0

LENOX, Mass. – Lily McDermott scored a pair of goals Wednesday to lead the Mount Greylock girls soccer team to a 5-0 win over Lenox.

 

Lucy McWeeny converted a penalty kick, and Tanley Drake and Gabriella Nicastro each scored a goal in the win.

 

Belen Galvez helped galvanize the Mounties defense in front of Mai O’Connor, who stopped two shots to earn the shutout.

 

The Mounties (5-0) host Lee on Saturday afternoon.

 

Lenox (1-2-1) hosts Holyoke on Friday.
