Monument Mountain Volleyball Sweeps Drury

GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass. – Hazel Curletti Tuesday recorded eight kills to lead the Monument Mountain volleyball team to a three-set, opening day win over Drury.

 

Curletti also served five aces and recorded a pair of blocks in the 25-11, 25-12, 25-13 win.

 

Anjani Taliercio had six kills and a pair of aces, and Novella Taliercio served a team-high six aces while notching five kills in the win.

 

Monument Mountain (1-0) hosts Granby on Wednesday.

 

Drury (0-1) plays its home opener against Mohawk Trail on Friday.
